- Account Information: Your email address and name (provided via Google Sign-In scope
emailandprofile). - Google Drive Data: We request the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonlyscope to monitor changes. We specifically access:- File metadata (names, IDs, MIME types, modification times) for files in folders you actively watch.
- Folder structure (to identify parent folders).
Important: While the drive.readonly scope grants permission to read file content, DocTrail does not download, store, or analyze the actual content of your documents. We only process metadata to generate change notifications.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely for the purpose of:
- Monitoring changes in your specified Google Drive folders.
- Sending email notifications to you and your subscribers when changes occur.
- Managing your account and subscription preferences.
4. Google User Data & Limited Use Policy
DocTrail's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with third-party service providers (like email delivery services) only to the extent necessary to provide our service.
